Boeing Announces Addl. $10 Bln Stock Buyback Authorization; Boosts Dividend 50%

(RTTNews) - Boeing Co. (BA) said Monday that its board of directors has authorized an additional $10 billion for the company's share repurchase plan and declared that the company's regular quarterly dividend will increase by about 50% to $0.73 per share.

The $10 billion repurchase authorization approved today is in addition to the about $0.8 billion remaining from the 2007 stock repurchase authorization.

Repurchase activity for 2013 is complete and is expected to resume in January 2014, the company noted.

The increased dividend is payable on March 7, 2014, to shareholders of record as of February 14, 2014.
