Brinker International Reaffirms 2016 Outlook; Hikes Dividend

(RTTNews) - While reporting its financial results for the second quarter today, restaurant operator Brinker International, Inc. (EAT) reaffirmed its earnings outlook for fiscal 2016.

For fiscal 2016, the company reiterated its outlook for earnings per share, excluding special items, to increase 15 to 18 percent to a range of $3.55 to $3.65. On average, 18 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect earnings of $3.57 per share for the year. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company declared a dividend of 32 cents per share to be paid in the third quarter, representing a 14.3 percent increase over the prior year.
