Business Objects Honors Partners for Exceptional Contributions to Business Intelligence Solutions

Excellence Award winners. The Business Objects Partner Excellence Awards
recognize partners for their outstanding contributions in delivering
solutions based on Business Objects technology, as well as for their

transformative benefits of business intelligence. The awards were
presented at the annual Business Objects Americas Partner Summit and
Sales Kick Off, held today in Las Vegas.

At the Partner Summit awards ceremony, Business Objects honored top
partner performers from the Americas in a variety of categories,
including:
Solution Provider Partner of the Year: Honors the Solution
Provider partner that delivered the most incremental license revenue
while also significantly expanding their customer portfolio, attaining
high marks in teamwork and executing successful, integrated marketing
programs. The Solution Provider Partner of the year is Decision First
Technologies, which was recognized as the top revenue-generating
Solution Provider Partner in North America.
Global Alliance Partner of the Year: Honors the partner that
provided outstanding expertise in strategy, design, implementation, and
customization services for Business Objects BI solutions. The Business
Objects Global Alliance Partner of the Year is Accenture.
Accenture was recognized once again in this category for its notable
customer successes, solution innovation, and partner support. With many
years of experience and nearly 4,000 successful client projects,
Accenture has carved out a reputation for its unique approach to
delivering complex data management, integration and analysis solutions
that are aligned to business needs.
OEM Partner of the Year: Honors the Business Objects partner who
delivered the most compelling application leveraging Business Objects
technology. VersiFit Technologies was the winner for
exhibiting expertise in using the full stack of Business Objects
technologies in their market-leading solution in the education sector.
Latin America Partner of the Year: Recognizes the Business
Objects partner that worked collaboratively with Business Objects to
drive the most significant market penetration and customer satisfaction
in Latin America. The winner is ETZ Informática,
which has experienced significant successes by leveraging extensive
knowledge in providing a best-of-breed Business Intelligence reporting
solution.
Technology Partner of the Year: Honors the Business Objects
partner that delivered the most compelling stand-alone application
leveraging Business Objects technology. The Business Objects Technology
Partner of the Year is APOS Systems. APOS has perfected
applications that have extend and supported Business Objects platform
for more than 12 years.
Authorized Education Services Partner of the Year: Recognizes the
Business Objects partner that delivered the most onsite and public
education services revenue, executed excellent class participation
rates, and consistently achieved top customer satisfaction ratings. The
winner of this year’s award is Integra
Solutions, a Business Unit of Quorum Business Solution. Integra
was recognized for being an exemplary Trusted Advisor through their
commitment in educating their customers on Business Intelligence, and
providing a solution that is best for the customer.
Reseller Partner of the Year: Distinguishes the Business Objects
Reseller who achieved top revenue contribution and most significantly
extended Business Objects’ customer reach. The
winner this year was CDW for their leadership role in selling the
most Crystal Reports for the eighth year in a row.
Most Innovative Use of Technology: Distinguishes the partner that
leveraged or integrated Business Objects technology with other
applications in the most innovative way to solve challenging customer
requirements. This year’s award went to Cerner
Corporation for their leadership in creating a network for improved
decision making across hospitals and agencies.
Best Mid-Market Implementation: Recognizes the partner that
delivered the year’s most outstanding
implementation at a midsized customer, as measured by the impact of the
solution in solving the customer’s business
requirements, overall customer satisfaction, and rapid time to value.
This year’s winner is Saama Technologies,
which was recognized for its vast and innovative delivery of BI projects
across a variety of market segments including high tech, financial
services, retail, manufacturing and bio sciences.
Best Enterprise Implementation: Recognizes the partner that
delivered the year’s most outstanding
implementation at an enterprise customer, as measured by the impact of
the solution in solving the customer’s
business requirements, providing overall customer satisfaction, and
delivering rapid time to value. IBM Global Business Services won
the Best Enterprise Implementation award for outstanding achievement in
delivering a world-class solution to assist physicians with their
patient treatment options.
