California Water Service Group Holding Q3 Profit Falls 9%

(RTTNews) - California Water Service Group Holding (CWT) released earnings for third quarter that lost ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line fell to $22.87 million, or $0.48 per share. This was down from $25.12 million, or $0.52 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.57 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 0.4% to $184.27 million. This was up from $183.54 million last year.
