Capital One Financial Q4 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Capital One Financial Corp. (COF) Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income available to common stockholders of $842 million, or $1.45 per share, compared to $825 million, or $1.41 per share in the comparable quarter last year.

Income from continuing operations rose to $882 million, or $1.48 per share, from $848 million, or $1.42 per share last year.

On average, 27 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $1.54 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues totaled $5.54 billion, down from $5.62 billion last year, while 20 analysts expected revenues of $5.48 billion.
