Cessna Celebrates Independence: Southeast Kansas Facility Marks 10 Year Anniversary and First Production Citation Mustang Rollout

Milestones being celebrated at the Cessna facility in Independenceinclude the rollout of the first Citation Mustang produced entirely atthe facility; the 10th anniversary of the facility; and the grandopening of the new customer delivery center.

Cessna's Independence facility draws its 800 employees from allover southeastern Kansas and northeastern Oklahoma. It is home toassembly operations for all Cessna single-engine aircraft, and now forthe Citation Mustang, Cessna's new twin-engine business jet, now inflight test and scheduled to be certified later this year.
