Chico's FAS Q4 Income Climbs 118%

(RTTNews) - Chico's FAS (CHS) released a profit for its fourth quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $13.51 million, or $0.10 per share. This was up from $6.19 million, or $0.05 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.04 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 4.9% to $600.78 million. This was down from $631.61 million last year.
