Church & Dwight Co Inc. Reveals 2% Gain In Q4 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - Church & Dwight Co Inc. (CHD) reported a profit for its fourth quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $109.1 million, or $0.82 per share. This was higher than $106.6 million, or $0.78 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.81 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 0.9% to $873.6 million. This was up from $865.5 million last year.
