Comdata Aligns with Jet Fleet International to Provide Comprehensive Aviation Purchasing Card

    Business Editors/Aviation Writers

BRENTWOOD, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 9, 2005--Comdata Corporation (NYSE: CEN), a leader in electronic payment transactions in the retail and transportation industries, today announced an alliance with Jet Fleet International (JFI), a membership-based provider of favorably priced products and services to the general aviation industry.
Through the agreement, all JFI member purchases will be transacted through Comdata's MasterCard(R)-branded payment product.
"Comdata is the first company to issue a general purpose credit card for private aircraft owners and operators. To date, other credit instruments have been largely fuel-only cards," said Randy Morgan, senior vice president and general manager of Comdata's Business Services division. "Through JFI's negotiated discounts, our card will handle any purchase necessary to run a private fleet--fuel, catering, ground transportation, pilot training and more. Plus, JFI members will also have comprehensive reporting of all business activity, dramatic cost reduction through paperless activity and faster access to key business data in real time."
Founded by legendary aviation figures Bob Hoover and Eugene Cernan, JFI offers its membership negotiated discounts with hundreds of organizations which provide goods and services to the general aviation industry.
"This strategic alliance brings together two leaders in delivering high quality at a good value," Finn Moller, JFI president said. "JFI aggregates the buying power of single corporate and private jet aircraft owners. Comdata aggregates all the activity onto a single card for our members--one card, one invoice, hundreds of savings opportunities."
