CoMedia Corporation's American Football Alumni Subsidiary Signs Record Producer and Writer Curt Cuomo
CoMedia Corporation (Pink Sheets:CMTN)
announces that its American Football Alumni ("AFA”)
subsidiary has selected Curt Cuomo to be its senior music supervisor.
AFA plans to utilize Curt to supervise all music related projects as
well as employ his writer/producer skills for its own digitally
distributed content through the AFA syndicated network. Mr. Cuomo’s
first project is the creation of an American Football Alumni series of
music CD’s featuring "greatest
hits” based on football themes from the 70’s,
80’s and 90’s.
Mr. Curtis Watts, President of AFA stated, "Having
a talented and experienced individual like Curt Cuomo as our Senior
Music Supervisor adds to our in-house capability to not only produce
content for our members, but own the content we create. The entire
collection will be available for digital download through the AFA
syndicated digital community network and other audio and video download
services and through CoMedia’s other
distribution channels.”
Curt who is heading up the music division of CoMedia Productions has
written and produced with multi-platinum artists such as KISS, Eddie
Money and Edgar Winter. Curt co-wrote the title track of the KISS album, "Psycho
Circus” along with, "I
Pledge Allegiance to the State of Rock’ n Roll”.

co-penned with friend Paul Stanley went to number one and garnered a
Grammy Nomination. Curt co-wrote half the songs on the 1997 KISS Album, "Carnival
of Souls” , including the first single, "Jungle”,
and was the 1997 "Medal Edge Reader’s
Choice Song of The Year.”
Mr. Cuomo has hosted many multi-platinum artists at his private studio
facility in Los Angeles including John Fogerty, Duran Duran, Melissa
Etheridge, Hilary Duff, Ashlee Simpson and Axel Rose to name just a few.
On a creative level, the sales of just this short list of artists totals
over 130 million units moved, comprised of gold, platinum and
multi-platinum albums, singles and concert/tour videos, over a billion
dollars of revenue generated.
CoMedia and Watchfire Music LLC have mutually agreed to not go forward
with the proposed acquisition of Watchfire which CoMedia had announced
based on a letter of intent signed on May 8, 2007. The Boards of
Directors of both companies agreed that it was not in the best interests
of shareholder’s of either company to
finalize the proposed transaction. As a result CoMedia will continue to
broaden the development of its own in-house music division as part of
its entertainment focused CoMedia Productions Group.
