Craig Perlman to Lead Deutsche Bank Prime Brokerage Client Service in the United States

Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. today announced that CraigPerlman has joined as a Managing Director and US Head of ClientService for Prime Brokerage within the Global Markets division. Hewill be based in New York, reporting to Christopher J. Caruso,Managing Director and Head of Prime Brokerage in North America.

Perlman joins Deutsche Bank from UBS where he was most recentlyChief Operating Officer of their Prime Brokerage business. Prior toholding this position, he was the Chief Operating Officer and ManagingDirector and co-head of Equity Finance at ABN Amro, whose primebrokerage business was sold to UBS in 2003. Previously, he was aManaging Director at ING Barings and Furman Selz.

"Craig's unique perspective and proven leadership experience inthe prime brokerage industry make him ideally suited for thisposition, and we are extremely pleased to have him join our team,"said Caruso. "As we continue to evolve our prime brokerage business tomeet the increasingly sophisticated needs of hedge fund clients, it isimperative that we continue to strengthen the management team that isleading this effort."

Perlman earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from theUniversity of Maryland and is a Certified Public Accountant.
