Crossroads Expands Management Team

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 28, 2005--Crossroads Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRDS), a leading provider of highly secure storage and data management solutions, today announced the appointment of Valerie H. Savage to Chief Financial Officer and David Cerf to Executive Vice President of Business Development.

Valerie brings a wealth of experience to Crossroads and has served as an independent business consultant to Crossroads since March 2005 and for several private and public companies since June 2000. Valerie served as vice president, worldwide client services for drkoop.com, Inc. from January 2000 to June 2000, and as associate vice president, investor relations from February 1999 to January 2000. From November 1998 to February 1999, Valerie served as chief financial officer for Ki-Soft, Inc., a privately held enterprise software company. From March 1996 to November 1998, Valerie served as investor relations officer for IntelliQuest Information Group, Inc. From January 1989 to March 1996, Valerie served as an independent business consultant. From December 1986 to December 1988, Valerie served as financial analyst to Kallestad Diagnostics. From November 1985 to December 1986, Valerie was a partner in a corporate services firm. From September 1982 to November 1985, Valerie served on the audit staff of Touche Ross & Co. Valerie holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas and is a Certified Public Accountant.
David brings with him extensive experience in corporate development stemming from working hands-on in the growth of over ten national and international ventures. Prior to joining Crossroads, David served as the vice president of sales and business development for NexQL where he reoriented the business strategy towards a government enterprise focus for database acceleration solutions. David was also co-founder of 360World, a leader in multimedia and imaging technologies that he grew to servicing several large media firms in more than 50 cities. David previously served as managing director of Trade Associates, an international development firm, where he was responsible for building new sales networks and local offices in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. During the 1980s, David founded the Dallas Business Incubator, which was one of the industry's first venture capital incubators and Dallas' first organization for encouraging the development of high-growth, start-up companies, which helped build over 50 firms from 1987 to 1990.
