CryoLife Names James Patrick Mackin President & CEO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - CryoLife, Inc. (CRY), a medical device and tissue processing company focused on cardiac and vascular surgery, has appointed James Patrick (Pat) Mackin as President and Chief Executive, effective September 2, 2014. Mackin is expected to be appointed to the Board of Directors soon after his employment.

Steven Anderson would continue to serve as the firm's President and Chief Executive until Mackin's employment begins and then continue as its Executive Chairman.

Mackin joins CryoLife from Medtronic, Inc., where he most recently served as President of Cardiac Rhythm Disease Management, the company's largest operating segment.
