"With more than 35 years of extensive corporate and government experience, Jose brings deep knowledge of CSC and our clients’ business, as well as a passion for our diversity and inclusion programs,” said Laphen. "Jose is a recognized leader in both the information technology and Hispanic communities and his appointment reflects CSC’s continued commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce.”

"Making diversity part of your intrinsic corporate culture is important to a company’s overall strategy as well as daily operations,” said Jimenez. "I am proud to work for a company that recognizes the business value of diversity and sees it as a tool for growth and business results.”

Jimenez was previously the president of CSC’s North American Public Sector (NPS) Strategy and Development division, responsible for strategy and development, high growth market segments, innovation, delivery assurance, communications and government relations. Prior to that, Jimenez served as president of the Enforcement, Security and Intelligence Group. He joined CSC in 1999 through its acquisition of Nichols Research and Welkin Associates, where he was president of national programs for Nichols and a vice president and business unit leader for Welkin.

Jimenez served 20 years in the U.S. Navy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and a master’s degree in management from Troy State University.
