Curtiss-Wright Q4 Profit Up, Lifts FY14 Earnings Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Curtiss-Wright Corporation (CW) Wednesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $47 million or $0.97 per share, up from $38 million or $0.81 per share in the same period last year.

On average, six analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.95 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Sales increased 19 percent to $700 million from $590 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $705.52 million.

Looking ahead to the fiscal year 2014, the company has raised its earnings outlook to a range of $3.30 to $3.40 per share from its prior guidance range of $3.20 to $3.35 per share.

Sales are projected in the range of $2.65 billion to $2.70 billion. Analysts currently expect the company to report full-year earnings of $3.33 per share on revenues of $2.68 billion.
