Cyrille du Peloux appointed Chief Executive Officer of Veolia Transport

Regulatory News: Henri Proglio, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Veolia Environnement, today appointed Cyrille du Peloux, Chief Executive Officer of Veolia Transport. Mr. du Peloux succeeds Stéphane Richard. Cyrille du Peloux, 53, is a graduate of two of France’s grandes écoles, Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (civil engineering). He joined Veolia Environnement in 2002 as Chief Executive of Veolia Environmental Services for the UK and Northern Europe. Mr. du Peloux began his career in the energy department of France’s Ministry for Industry in 1979. In 1985 he joined the Bouygues group, where he served as head of the diversification department then as Deputy General Manager of the TF1 television channel, with responsibility for the business and development of various subsidiaries, including Eurosport. In 1992 he became Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lyonnaise Communication in charge of Noos, Paris Première and TPS. From 1999 to 2002, Mr. du Peloux was Chief Operating Officer for Bull.
