DeVry Inc. to Ring Closing Bell of New York Stock Exchange in Celebration of Joining the S&P 500 Index

DeVry Inc. (NYSE: DV), a global provider of educational services, announced that Daniel Hamburger, president and chief executive officer of DeVry Inc., along with DeVry Inc. employees and other special guests, will celebrate the company’s recent addition to the S&P 500 Index by ringing The Closing Bell^SM at the New York Stock Exchange today, July 7, 2009, at 4 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time). DeVry Inc. became a member of the S&P 500 Index on June 8, 2009.
