Indicative Announcement of Haichuangzhi's Shareholding Increase Progress in the Company to 1%

Qingdao / Shanghai / Frankfurt, December 10, 2018 - Qingdao Haier Co., Ltd. (ISIN CNE1000031C, "Qingdao Haier" or the "Company") published a mandatory announcement in accordance with applicable trading rules of Shanghai Stock Exchange / applicable PRC laws in relation to the Shareholding Increase Progress of Haichuangzhi Management Consulting Enterprise LP ("Haichuangzhi"). Haichuangzhi, which is acting in concert with Haier Group Corporation, notified the Company that pursuant to the Shareholding Increase Plan it has increased its Shareholding in the Company to 63,684,169 A-shares in total during the period from 1 August 2018 to 10 December 2018, representing 1.00% of the total share capital of the Company.

After the Shareholding Increasing, Haichuangzhi holds 63,684,169 shares of the Company, representing 1.00% of the total share capital of the Company, the class of increased shares were A-shares, the average price of increase was RMB 14.92 per share and the amount of increase was RMB 0.95 billion. Haier Group Corporation and the parties acting in concert (including Haichuangzhi) hold 2,567,232,317 shares of the Company in total, representing 40.31% of the total share capital of the Company.
