Dollar Tree Stores Q3 Earnings Fall 37%
(RTTNews) - Dollar Tree Stores (DLTR) released a profit for third quarter that declined from last year.
The company said its profit came in at $89.2 million, or $0.38 per share. This was down from $142.4 million, or $0.69 per share, in last year's third quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.53 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter rose 135.7% to $4.95 billion. This was up from $2.10 billion last year.
