eBay.com to Support U.S. Live Earth Concert

eBay.com (Nasdaq:EBAY) announced it will support the U.S. leg of the seven-continent, 24-hour Live Earth concerts on July 7, 2007 as the authorized tickets resale provider. eBay is also working with Live Earth’s organizers to produce a series of high-profile charity auctions on eBay.com for autographed concert memorabilia and other items to benefit The Alliance for Climate Protection. Tickets to the Live Earth concert at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. went on sale Monday, April 16th, and began immediately appearing on eBay.com. Ticket holders may resell them using eBay Giving Works (www.ebay.com/givingworks), provided they donate a minimum of 20 percent of the final sale price to The Alliance for Climate Protection. eBay Giving Works is eBay’s dedicated charity marketplace which generated more than $20 million in charitable contributions last year.
