Elbit Systems Unit Secures Asia-Pacific Air Force Contract
(RTTNews) - Elbit Systems Electro-optics - Elop Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd. (ESLT), Sunday, said it has been awarded a follow-on contract to supply its advanced DCoMPASS electro-optical payload systems to an Asia-Pacific Air Force to be installed onboard Helicopters.
DCoMPASS, or Digital Compact Multi Purpose Advanced Stabilized System, is a low weight, multi-sensor electro-optical payload system, providing solutions for airborne applications as well as for land and naval platforms.
DCoMPASS provides intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance, even in the harshest of weather conditions. The contract will be performed over a three-year period.
