The company's earnings totaled -$349.31 million, or -$4.59 per share. This compares with -$2.441 billion, or -$10.38 per share, last year.

The company's revenue for the period fell 6.1% to $467.50 million from $497.73 million last year.

Commenting on the narrower loss, the company said, "This change was driven by fourth-quarter 2023 adjustments to estimated allowed claims, including with respect to certain litigation matters and debt obligations that were reduced to actual payments upon emergence from the Chapter 11 process in second-quarter 2024.
