Energizer Updates 2019 Net Sales Outlook

(RTTNews) - Energizer Holdings Inc. (ENR) said that it adjusted net sales outlook for fiscal 2019 to a range of $2.48 to $2.50 billion as strength in the battery business is offset by softness in the auto care business. Previously, net sales were expected to be in the range of $2.52 billion to $2.57 billion.

The company confirmed its outlook for adjusted earnings per share from continuing operations to be between $2.90 to $3.00. The company also confirmed its outlook for adjusted EBITDA to be between $540 to $560 million and adjusted free cash flow to be between $220 to $250 million.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect the company to report earnings of $2.94 per share and revenues of $2.53 billion for 2019. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
