Entravision Radio Promotes Nestor Rocha to Vice President of Programmi

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Entravision Radio, a division of Entravision Communications Corporation , announced today that Nestor "Pato" Rocha has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Programming. In his new role, Mr. Rocha will oversee all programming and promotion operations for all of Entravision Radio's 54 stations nationwide. He will also continue to serve as the program director for KSSE-FM 107.1 Super Estrella, Entravision Radio's top-rated Spanish- language contemporary hits radio station, serving the Los Angeles, California market. Effectively immediately, Mr. Rocha reports to Jeffery A. Liberman, President of Entravision Radio, and will be based at the company's Los Angeles headquarters.

A member of Entravision Radio's programming team since 1992, Mr. Rocha is one of the programming masterminds behind the creation of Entravision Radio's innovative formats, specifically Super Estrella. Drawing from his expertise in Spanish pop and rock music, Mr. Rocha developed and launched Super Estrella in the Los Angeles market, the first Spanish-language contemporary hits music format of its kind. In 1997, Mr. Rocha created Reventon Super Estrella, an annual concert event featuring the hottest Latin pop artists and benefiting the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and other Hispanic community organizations. Prior to joining Entravision Radio, Mr. Rocha served as a programming executive at Latin Communications Group, which was later acquired by Entravision. During his tenure at Latin Communications Group, Mr. Rocha is credited with launching one of the first Regional Mexican-formatted radio stations, KLOK-AM, serving the San Jose-San Francisco, California market.
