Envestnet Q2 Adj. Profit Tops View

(RTTNews) - Envestnet, Inc. (ENV) Wednesday reported second-quarter net income of $3.7 million or $0.10 per share, compared to $1.1 million or $0.03 per share in the same period last year.

Adjusted earnings for the quarter were $6.6 million or $0.18 per share, up from $4.5 million or $0.13 per share in the prior year period. On average, eight analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.17 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues increased 64 percent to $84.83 million from $51.63 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $81.76 million for the quarter.
