Exelon Corp Reveals 18% Increase In Q4 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - Exelon Corp (EXC) revealed earnings for its fourth quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $410 million, or $0.44 per share. This was up from $347 million, or $0.38 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.45 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 20.5% to $8.05 billion. This was up from $6.68 billion last year.
