Federal Signal Raises Low End Of Prior FY19 Adj. EPS Outlook Range

(RTTNews) - While reporting financial results for the first quarter on Thursday, Federal Signal Corp. (FSS) raised the low end of its adjusted earnings guidance range for the full year 2019, based on the better-than-expected performance in the first quarter and the strength of its backlog.

For fiscal 2019, the company raised the low end of its previous adjusted earnings range by $0.02 to establish a new range of $1.50 to $1.60 per share.

On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect the company to report earnings of $1.55 per share for the year. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
