FOX News Channel Names Martha MacCallum and Jane Skinner to New Positions

The Live Desk with Martha MacCallum premieres Monday, September25th from 1-2PM EST will feature MacCallum anchoring from inside theFNC control room -- bringing viewers closer to the day's breaking newsfrom around the world. MacCallum will also take her audiences beyondthe headlines with a panel that will bring a fresh perspective ontopics affecting all Americans. She joined FNC in January 2004 as ananchor for FOX News Live and prior to that served a variety ofpositions at NBC and CNBC from 1997 to 2003.
Also beginning September 25th, Jane Skinner will anchor FOX NewsLive weekdays from 2-3 PM EST, replacing Martha MacCallum. Skinnercurrently serves as a daytime news anchor, providing news updates atthe top and bottom of the hour. Skinner joined the network fromWNBC-TV, where she was a freelance reporter. Prior to her stint there,Skinner served as the primetime anchor for WITI-TV (FOX) in Milwaukeeand as a reporter for KMOV-TV (CBS) in St. Louis.
