Here's Your Last Chance To Get NES Classic

(RTTNews) - Japanese video game console maker Nintendo has officially discontinued the NES Classic, however, Best Buy is offering the last chance to grab the retro gaming system.

The video game retailer on Monday will offer some of the last stock it could manage to get from Nintendo on a first-come, first-served basis to any customers who visits its store.

According to Verge, some of the stores will be using a ticket system to ensure those who turn up first will get the console.

"We encourage anyone interested in obtaining this system to check with retail outlets regarding availability," Nintendo had said in a statement to USA Today. "We understand that it has been difficult for many consumers to find a system, and for that we apologize. We have paid close attention to consumer feedback, and we greatly appreciate the incredible level of consumer interest and support for this product."

Nintendo had launched the NES Classic for $60 late last year, and it turned out to be a sleeper hit. Although, it did not have high-end graphics games like its rivals the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, it was welcomed by avid gamers due to it being the original 1985 console that could be plugged into modern TVs using a HDMI port. The console came with a retro controller, 8-bit graphics and 30 preinstalled classic games including Pac-Man, Tecmo Bowl and Super Mario Bros.
