Home Design Shines as Method Launches Urban Metallics Limited Edition Collection

Crafted by method's leaders in design and fragrance, this lineup taps into the 2018 interior design trend of metallic hues, subtly bringing a sense of home décor and style to products in a way that only method can.

This collection's bottle design masterfully mixes inspiration from precious warm and cool metals, like copper with nickel and pewter with brass, to create products with a sense of sophistication. Faceted forms and geometric patterns come together on the brand's iconic bottles to give them a modern architectural feel, while vivid fragrances such as burnished cedar and copper rain round out this refined collection.
The Urban Metallics Limited Edition Collection features four fragrances and bottle designs mixing seven metallic colors, including:
- cool lavender – a pattern of sharp lines that is complemented by an herbaceous lavender scent; available in 12 oz. gel hand wash (polished nickel + pewter design) + 10 oz. foaming hand wash (pewter + brass design)
- burnished cedar – a diamond-inspired pattern complemented with a woody scent that blends subtly fragrant notes of cedar, sandalwood and amber; available in 12 oz. gel hand wash (brass + antique brass design) + 10 oz. foaming hand wash (antique brass + rose gold design)
- copper rain – warm colors and a watery scent inspired by a copper sunset after a summer rain; available in 12 oz. gel hand wash (rose gold + copper design) + 10 oz. foaming hand wash (copper + polished nickel design)
- golden citrus – a rich, intoxicating golden hue is coupled with notes of zesty lemon, grapefruit and orange; available in 12 oz. gel hand wash, 10 oz. foaming hand wash, 18 oz. dish soap + 28 oz. all-purpose cleaner (gold + brass design)
In celebration of the new Urban Metallics Limited Edition Collection, method collaborated with Brooklyn-based interior designer Athena Calderone, the curatorial eye behind popular digital lifestyle destination, EyeSwoon. Her ability to marry contrasting design styles and décor items in a sophisticated and purposeful manner lends itself to the art of glamorously mixing metals in the home. As part of this partnership, Athena is teaming up with method to craft bespoke social content, and create personalized tips for mixing the products and other metallic designs in the home.
