ICM School of Business & Medical Careers to Host Graduation for 247 Students Wednesday Evening

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- ICM School of Business & Medical Careers announced it will hold a graduation ceremony Wednesday evening for 247 students. The 6:30 p.m. ceremony will take place at the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall at 4141 Fifth Avenue in Pittsburgh, Penn.

ICM's students will be recognized for earning an associate in specialized business, associate in specialized technology or a diploma in 21 different program areas. Graduates seeking entry-level jobs as medical assistants or occupational therapy assistants are in high demand throughout the state. According to the Pennsylvania Occupational Outlook Handbook, 2002 (produced by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry, Center for Workforce Information and Analysis), medical assistant positions are expected to increase from 10,850 to 16,500 and occupational therapy assistant positions are expected to increase from 1,400 to 1,900 from 1998 to 2008 in the state of Pennsylvania.

Dave Crawley, KDKA-TV news reporter, will keynote Wednesday's ceremony. Crawley has won nine Emmy awards throughout his career, including "Outstanding Feature Reporter" in the Mid-Atlantic states. He currently reports on stories for "KD County."

ICM School of Business & Medical Careers offers five diploma programs and 16 associate degree programs in specialized business and specialized technology. The school offers programs in areas of study ranging from allied health, business administration and accounting, to fashion merchandising, criminal justice - cybercrime, computer network engineering technology and occupational therapy assistant.
