Independent Research Report Cites CSC as a ‘Leader’ in EMEA Application Outsourcing

CSC (NYSE:CSC) announced today that it has been identified as a "Leader” in the Dec. 20, 2010, Forrester Research, Inc. report, "The Forrester Wave™: EMEA Applications Outsourcing, Q4 2010.” The report evaluated 15 leading applications outsourcing (AO) service providers across 50 criteria that assessed their strengths and weaknesses in the areas of current offerings, strategies and market presence.

The report noted that "CSC exhibits a unique blend of conventional outsourcing strengths, manifested in solid performance in transition and knowledge transfer,” and "scored well for its complementary consulting capabilities.”

"We are delighted to again be cited as a leader in global application services, this time across EMEA, and to see CSC's strengths in transforming applications to take full business advantage of cloud and mobility recognized,” said Vivek Chopra, president of CSC Global Applications. "Acknowledgement of CSC's leadership in delivering industrialized, business-outcome-based managed services is especially gratifying. These services deliver sharply improved agility, speed and quality at significantly lower risk and cost points, enabling clients to quickly redirect scarce resources to their most strategic efforts.”
