Jack Henry Q2 Profit Tops Estimate

(RTTNews) - Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. (JKHY) reported net income for the second quarter of $54.0 million, or $0.63 per share, compared to $40.5 million or $0.47 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net income for the second quarter was $52.1 million or $0.61 per share, compared to $49.3 million or $0.57 per share in the prior year quarter.

Total revenue for the quarter rose 9% to $302.5 million from $278.7 million in the same quarter a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.60 per share on revenue of $304.29 million for the second quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
