In a further expansion of the firm’s Global Financial Sponsors Group, Jefferies announced today the appointment of Jeffrey Howe as a Managing Director in the firm’s Investment Banking Division.

"We are very pleased that Jeff Howe has chosen to join our financial sponsors team,” commented Adam D. Sokoloff, Global Head of Financial Sponsors Coverage at Jefferies. "In particular, his deep product experience and expansive client relationships across the financial sponsor community will complement our existing coverage effort.”

"Our sponsor client business remains a key focus area for Jefferies, as we continue to build our platform both in the US and internationally,” commented Benjamin D. "Consistent with that commitment we welcome Jeff to our team and expect his experience and relationships within the private equity community will be immediately accretive to our business.”

Mr. Howe has nearly 25 years of investment banking experience working with financial sponsors, media and telecom corporates and other leveraged finance clients. Most recently Mr. Howe was a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Leveraged Finance Origination and Restructuring Group at Credit Suisse where he spent 12 years. His financial sponsor relationships are extensive across both mid- and large-cap private equity firms and alternative asset clients.
