Jefferies Hires Magnus Christensson as European Head of Fund Placement Group

Jefferies announced today the hiring of Magnus Christensson as a Managing Director and European Head of the firm’s Fund Placement Group based in London. He joins Jefferies from Atlantic-Pacific Capital and has more than 12 years of private equity fundraising experience.

Mr. Christensson was previously a Partner at Atlantic-Pacific Capital where he originated and raised capital for Private Equity, Infrastructure and Real Estate funds across Europe and the US. Prior to that, he was a Principal at SevenPeaks Capital and in 2000, was a Principal at NM Rothschild's private equity business. Mr. Christensson was the co-founder of The Forefront Group, an advisory firm working with private equity investments and a strategy consultant with Indevo and Bain & Co. He received his BSc in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Uppsala, Sweden. He is also a Reserve Lieutenant in the Royal Swedish Navy and a member of YPO.
