Kaiser Aluminum Stock Falls 13%

(RTTNews) - Kaiser Aluminum Corporation (KALU) shares fell $23.70, or 12.77 percent, to $161.81 on Tuesday, possibly following the company's announcement yesterday of a leadership transition, with Fred Stephan appointed as CEO and President effective November 1, 2026.

The stock opened at $176.94 and traded between $157.33 and $180.62 during the session on the Nasdaq. It has traded in a 52-week range of $73.08 to $199.89. Trading volume reached 0.22 million shares, compared with an average daily volume of 0.27 million shares.

Stephan will succeed Keith Harvey, who will become Executive Chairman and remain on the board. Harvey will also serve as a special advisor through October 31, 2027, to support the transition. Stephan will join Kaiser Aluminum's board when he takes over as CEO.
