KBR Wins $208 Mln U.S. Army Contract

(RTTNews) - KBR, Inc. (KBR), a provider of technology and engineering solutions, said Monday that Trinzic, the planned spin-off of its Mission Technology Solutions business, has secured an estimated $208 million cost-plus-fixed-fee t task order to continue supporting the U.S. Army's Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions (TAGM) portfolio.

The five-year recompete was awarded under the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Plus (OASIS+) government-wide contract vehicle. KBR will provide engineering, prototyping, modernization, foreign military sales and logistics support throughout the lifecycle of the Army's TAGM systems.

The portfolio includes HELLFIRE, JAGM, Javelin and TOW missiles, Hydra Rockets and Long-Range Precision Munitions, along with advanced rocket and containerized weapons platforms.

"This award reflects the Armys trust in KBR to move quickly and handle complexity without losing focus on the mission," said Jay Lennon, President of Mission Technology Solutions.

On Monday, KBR shares closed at $38.04, up 1.25%.
