Krispy Kreme Q1 Loss Widens, Stock Falls In Pre-Market

(RTTNews) - Krispy Kreme, Inc. (DNUT), Thursday announced financial results for the first quarter, reporting a net loss of $33.4 million or $0.20 a share, compared to a loss of $6.7 million or $0.05 a share last year.

The loss widened primarily due to the decline in net revenue.

On adjusted basis, loss totaled $8.8 million or $0.05 a share for the quarter compared to earnings of $11.3 million or $0.07 a share in the previous year.

Analysts, on average, estimated a loss of $0.05 a share for the same quarter.

Net revenue declined to $375.2 million from $442.7 million in the prior year.

Looking ahead, the company expects revenue of $370 to $385 million for the full year 2025.

Analysts, on average, project revenue of $1.61 billion for the same period.

In the pre-market hours, DNUT is falling 23.8 percent, to $3.29 on the Nasdaq.
