Lexington Realty Trust Announces 7% Gain In Q2 Profit

(RTTNews) - Lexington Realty Trust (LXP) revealed a profit for its second quarter that increased from last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $71.80 million, or $0.29 per share. This was up from $67.02 million, or $0.27 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.27 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 0.7% to $109.58 million. This was down from $110.33 million last year.
