Lexington Realty Trust Q1 Income Rises 12%

(RTTNews) - Lexington Realty Trust (LXP) released a profit for its first quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $72.10 million, or $0.30 per share. This was higher than $64.48 million, or $0.26 per share, in last year's first quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.27 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 2.9% to $111.62 million. This was up from $108.44 million last year.
