LifePoint Health Q1 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - LifePoint Health, Inc. (LPNT) reported first-quarter net income to company of $59.9 million compared to $21.6 million, last year. Earnings per share increased to $1.46 compared with $0.48 for the same period last year. Adjusted earnings per share increased to $1.07 compared with $0.85.

For the first quarter, consolidated revenues were $1.63 billion, up 3.1% from prior year. Revenues before provision for doubtful accounts were $1.86 billion compared to $1.80 billion, previous year.
