LKQ Q3 Profit Misses Estimates; Revenues Beat

Looking ahead, the company lowered the top end of its end annual adjusted earnings outlook.

Net earnings rose to $91.5 million or $0.30 per share, from $73.4 million or $0.24 per share a year ago.

Earnings, excluding certain items, of $0.31 per share were short of the $0.32 average estimate of analysts polled by Thomson-Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

EBITDA totaled $187.23 million for the third quarter, compared with $146.4 million a year earlier.

Revenues increased to $1.72 billion, from $1.30 billion a year earlier, above the $1.68 billion Wall Street expected.

LKQ pared the top end of its annual adjusted earnings outlook to $1.32 to $1.36 per share, from the prior guidance range of $1.32 to $1.40 per share a year earlier.
