LKQ Q3 Profit Up, Backs Full-year Earnings Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - LKQ Corp.'s (LKQ) net income for the third quarter was $73.45 million or $0.24 per share, up from $54.05 million or $0.18 per share in the year-ago period.

Both the quarters' results include losses totaling $0.01 per share resulting from restructuring and acquisition-related expenses and the change in fair value of contingent consideration liabilities.

On average, twelve analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings per share of $0.25 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Revenue for the quarter grew 28 percent to $1.30 billion from $1.02 billion during the comparable period last year. Analysts had a consensus revenue estimate of $1.27 billion for the quarter.

Looking ahead to fiscal 2013, LKQ affirmed its forecast for earnings per share in a range of $1.03 to $1.10. The company now forecasts organic revenue growth of 10 percent to 11.5 percent, up from the prior range of 8.5 percent to 10.5 percent.

Analysts expect the company to earn $1.09 per share for the year on revenues of $5.04 billion.
