Luis Antonio Betancourt Barrios Joins Deutsche Bank as Head of Trading in Mexico
Betancourt will join the bank from JPMorgan, where he was mostrecently a trader in New York and Mexico. Prior to that, he was Headof Fixed Income Market Making for JPMorgan in Mexico.
"Mexico is a key financial market for Deutsche Bank in LatinAmerica and therefore a vital growth area for us," said Binaghi. "Luiswill lead our team well and his strong client relationships in Mexicoand throughout Latin America will be an enormous asset to our growinglocal trading businesses."
"This hire demonstrates our commitment to Mexico as we continue todevelop and expand our capabilities, products and services in thismarket," added Vidaurri.
Betancourt earned a BA degree from the Instituto TecnologicoAutonomo de Mexico.
