LyondellBasell Announces Pricing Of Underwritten Public Offering Of Shares

(RTTNews) - Dutch chemicals and polymers maker LyondellBasell (LYB) Wednesday announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 16 million ordinary shares by some selling shareholders that are affiliates of Apollo Management Holdings L.P. The offering is expected to close September 9.

The selling shareholders have agreed to a lock-up for a period of 30 days after the date of the prospectus supplement for the offering.

LyondellBasell will not receive any proceeds from the offering. The offering will not change the total number of LyondellBasell ordinary shares outstanding.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. acted as the sole underwriter for the offering.
