M-tron Secures $4.5 Mln Order For US Air Defense Program

(RTTNews) - On Tuesday, M-tron Industries, Inc. (MPTI), provider of high-performance radio frequency ("RF") components and solutions, announced that it has secured an order valued at $4.5 million from a leading U.S. defense prime contractor to support a major air defense program. The order includes several high-performance, rugged lumped-element RF filters under a two-year contract, with annual volumes increasing by 50% compared with prior 12-month orders for the program. The program is a key component of the U.S. air defense system and is expected to remain in production beyond 2030. The contract further reinforces Mtron's leadership in high-performance RF components for demanding defense applications, supporting U.S. and allied programs across radar and so on. Work under this contract will take place in Orlando, Florida through 2028. On the NYSE American, the shares were trading 0.68 percent lower at $87.88.
