Main Street Capital Q2 Net Investment Income Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Main Street Capital Corp. (MAIN) Thursday said second-quarter net-investment income increased to $17.83 million or $0.51 per share from $12.83 million or $0.47 per share in the comparable quarter last year.

On average, six analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.50 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net increase in assets resulting from operations attributable to common stock totaled $24.0 million or $0.69 per share, compared to $24.15 million or $0.88 per share last year.

Investment income totaled $27.80 million, up 33 percent from $20.84 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $26.91 million.
