Matador Resources Turns To Profit In Q1 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Matador Resources (MTDR) posted first-quarter net income of $16.4 million, or $0.25 per share, compared to net loss of $15.5 million, or $0.28 per share in the comparable quarter last year.

Oil and natural gas revenues increased to $73.98 million from $54.89 million in the year-ago period.

On average, eleven analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.28 per share on revenues of $76.87 million. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking ahead, to fiscal 2014, the company now expects oil and natural gas revenues of $380 to $400 million, up from its previous range of $325 million to $355 million. Analysts now expect revenues of $363.88 million.
