MetLife Hong Kong's Year-to-date Brokerage Business Volume Up Over 500%

(RTTNews) - MetLife Hong Kong, a subsidiary of life insurer MetLife, Inc. (MET), announced Thursday that its year-to-date brokerage business volume as of September 30 has registered a growth of over 500% from the previous year.

The company attributed the surge in its brokerage business to heightened regional demand for its USD denominated life insurance products, strong investment strategies and capabilities, and the very strong to superior financial credit ratings of MetLife, Inc.

MetLife Hong Kong said it consolidates its solid market position in the traditional retail market and continues to build inroads in the region's high-net-worth and affluent middle consumer segments.
