Monster Worldwide Lauded for Veteran Hiring Efforts; Military.com and Monster.com Offer Innovative Services for Veterans, Employers

America's military veteran ranks grows by 250,000annually and according to The President's National Hire VeteransCommittee they represent a rich source of talent and competitiveadvantage for employers. The committee acknowledged Andrew McKelvey,Chairman and CEO, Monster Worldwide, for the efforts of Monster andMilitary.com in support of veteran employment.

Monster and Military.com were recognized for ensuring employersknow about the availability of this vital workforce, and assistingtransitioning veterans and those already in the workforce inidentifying and landing career positions. There is a shared commitmentby Monster and the Department of Labor to address the employment needsand interests of veterans. Efforts have also focused on makingefficient connections between veterans and career opportunities.
