Monster Worldwide Lauded for Veteran Hiring Efforts; Military.com and Monster.com Offer Innovative Services for Veterans, Employers
Monster and Military.com were recognized for ensuring employersknow about the availability of this vital workforce, and assistingtransitioning veterans and those already in the workforce inidentifying and landing career positions. There is a shared commitmentby Monster and the Department of Labor to address the employment needsand interests of veterans. Efforts have also focused on makingefficient connections between veterans and career opportunities.

The President's National Hire Veterans Committee's HireVetsFirstcampaign targets employers with the message hiring veterans is goodbusiness, not just goodwill. Veterans represent diverse backgroundsand possess unique qualifications, including security clearances,leadership experience, technical expertise, and maturity.
